For the second consecutive day, Teoscar Hernández played a crucial role in securing a victory for the Los Angeles Dodgers against the New York Yankees, hitting two home runs and driving in six runs, including a Grand Slam that helped the team pull away from the Bronx Bombers. The Dodgers ultimately won the game 11-3, claiming their second triumph of the series.
Regarding the game, Dodgers manager mentioned his hopes for the team’s power to be reflected in October:
“As I said before, I hope we can keep repeating these performances in October. Coming here, we knew it was going to be a tough test for us. Playing against a different opponent and doing it as visitors. It’s fun to see the guys more focused on their game.”

After securing Friday’s victory with an eleventh-inning double, Teoscar Hernández entered the game determined to keep hitting.
In the top of the eighth inning, with the bases loaded, Hernández connected on a changeup from Tommy Kahnle for the fifth Grand Slam of his career and his eighteenth multi-home run game, and the second of this season.
Teoscar Hernández commented on his outstanding performance and emphasized the importance of enjoying every moment on the diamond:
“Incredible. I knew the ball was going over the fence when I saw my teammates in the bullpen raise their arms. You just have to enjoy these moments. It’s not something that happens every day, so I try to enjoy it as much as I can.”
With his six RBIs, Hernández tied the highest single-game RBI total of his career.
This loss marks only the third series defeat for the Yankees this season, while the Dodgers will look to complete the sweep on Sunday.
