In the mixed zone after Monday’s Yankees practice, Juan Soto addressed the media about the team’s recent struggles.
The Dominican player emphasized the importance of staying focused amid the adversity they’re facing and told Yes Network the following:
“We have to keep going and play good baseball. We have everything we need. We just have to keep our heads up. It’s tough.”
Soto believes in always finding the positive side, even when things aren’t going according to plan, and stressed the need to keep working to improve. He also mentioned that the team’s spirits remain high and that these losses have motivated them to better themselves.
“The energy is still high, we keep believing and working every day. That’s really positive.”
After a strong start to the season, the Yankees have struggled recently, losing 17 of their last 23 games, with issues apparent both offensively and defensively.
