The cuban player, Jose Abreu, made his debut in the 2024 season after spending time in the minor leagues to recover his best figure.

Even though that was his only hit of the night, he said that is feeling better and his is ready to play every single day as he is used to.

The Houston Astros ‘s manager, Joe Espada, didn’t confirmed any movement and he highlighted the fact that nobody has his position secured at first base. He wants to see results before he makes a decision.
At this moment, Abreu and Singleton will continue to rotate at first base according to the pitcher they are going to face.
