In Saturday’s game against the Texas Rangers, injuries once again affected the LA Dodgers. In the top of the fifth inning, after facing two batters, Blake Treinen was hit by a line drive from Sam Huff, that impacted his ribs and provoke him to fall to the ground. Fortunately, he was able to leave the field under his own power and was replaced by J.P. Feyereisen.
Undoubtedly, one of the most scaring moments of this offseason:

This adds to the absence of right-handed pitcher Emmet Sheehan. Before the game, Roberts mentioned that Sheehan won’t start the season due to a shoulder issue. Sheehan started Game 1 of the Divisional Series against the Arizona Diamondbacks where he allowed three runs.
Dave Roberts pointed out that they will wait for the results of the X-rays scheduled for Blake Treinen this Sunday to determine the severity of his injury.
The Dodgers defeated the Texas Rangers 7-1 in a game where they put Mookie Betts at the shortstop position
