After missing the first game due to a hamstring injury, Corey Seager finally experienced his first game as a visitor at Dodger Stadium.
Following a standing ovation from the fans before the first game of the series, the crowd rose to their feet when Seager stepped up to the plate in the first inning. However, throughout the game, there were some boos as Seager ran the bases.

This was Seager’s first game at Dodger Stadium, which had been his home for seven seasons. In the top of the fifth inning, with two runners on base, the Rangers’ player hit a three-run homer to center field, securing a victory for the Texas team and evening the series.
Entering this game, Seager had a batting line of .297/.364/.533 over 310 games.
When asked about the boos he received, Corey Seager answered:
“It was to be expected, and I understand. During the time I was here, they proved to be one of the best fanbases. They are die-hard. They want to win every day. I’ve been on that side, and I know what it feels like to have them on your side, so it makes sense.”
