One of the longest streaks in Baltimore Orioles’s history came to an end this Wednesday as they were swept by the St. Louis Cardinals. Since 2022, the Orioles had not been swept in a series, ending a streak of 106 consecutive series in which they won at least one game.

The streak achieved by the Baltimore Orioles, dates back to the series from May 13-15, 2022, when they were swept by the Detroit Tigers. This streak is the longest in American League history and the second longest in all of MLB. It is surpassed only by the New York Giants’ streak from 1903-1905.
It took 107 series for the Orioles to experience another sweep, a streak that highlights the offensive power and resilience the Orioles have shown this season, extending back to the 2022 season.
On the other hand, the Cardinals that haven’t have their best season and that they have struggled in some positions, they found a way to sweep the Orioles.
Also, Orioles received some bad news because the opener of Wedsneday’s game, John Means, had lo left the game after three innings because of an elbow injury.
