El ex-jugador de las Grandes Ligas, Manny Ramírez, fue despedido por lso Sydney Blue Sox en la Liga Australiana luego de no tener buenos vínculos.
Segun Hector Gómez, el equipo hizo el anuncio públicamente debido a que es un jugador de mucho respecto y no lo pueden liberar como a otro cualquiera.
Mediante la cuenta oficial del equipo, estos emitieron el siguiente comunicado:
“Combinado con la incertidumbre de la temporada y el problema médico actual que impide que Manny Ramírezjuegue y entrene con los Medias Azules de Sydney, hemos decidido liberar a Manny.”

Manny Ramírez vio acción en la MLB durante 19 años, también jugó en la Liga Japonesa y en la Liga Dominicana de béisbol, ha jugado en muchísimos escenarios de sangre fría y no ha quedado mal. Sin embargo, no terminó muy bien con los Sydney Blue Sox.
