According to Joel Scherman, the New York Yankees have announced that they will not offer a new contract to seven players; including Domingo Germán.
With this news, this players are free to make an agreement with any team that wants them in their roster. However the due date to be claimed by any team is on Monday. In the case they are not claimed by any team, players will be send to minor leagues, where they can test free agency.
Finally the Yankees decided not to continue with Domingo German after he ended the season last August to get a medical treatment due to his abuse of alcohol.
Despite is not 100% percent that Domingo will not play for the Yankees next season, with this news the probability is less.
Domingo German will be in the memory of fans for its perfect game that he threw last June when the Yankees faced the Oakland Athletics.
