The experienced New York Yankees player, Marcus Stroman, decided to gift two bottles of wine to his rookie teammate, Luis Gil, after a historic performance. The rookie pitcher had an outstanding game, recording 14 strikeouts in seven innings against the Chicago White Sox.

On May 18th, during a game at Yankee Stadium, Luis Gil dominated the White Sox lineup, allowing only three hits and no walks. His performance not only helped secure a Yankees victory but also etched his name in the history books.

Gil is the first rookie in the New York Yankees that has 14 streakouts in a single game since Orlando #el Duque” Hernandez” in 1998.

Marcus Stroman is regarded not only as a great player but also as a good teammate. He decided to gift Luis Gil two bottles of wine from Le Carénage, a gesture symbolizing the respect and admiration Stroman has for Gil.

For Luis Gil, receiving this gift from a veteran like Stroman was a meaningful moment.
