Jarren Duran, the Boston Red Sox outfielder, was chosen as the MVP of the 2024 All-Star Game in the American League’s 5-3 victory over the National League on the night of Tuesday, July 16 of the current year.

At 27 years old, Duran went 2-for-1 with a two-run home run in the bottom of the fifth inning, coming with two outs against Hunter Greene of the Cincinnati Reds. The homer sailed 413 feet to right field at Globe Life Park.

Duran’s achievement marks a significant milestone as he becomes the first Mexican player to win the All-Star Game MVP. He joins a prestigious list of Red Sox players who have earned this honor:
