The Dodgers and its foundation haven’t stopped in helping the community during Thanksgiving season, including the two events that they did in the Dodgers stadium and Dreamfields (South LA).

The Dodgers have been giving turkeys to the local community during Christmas season for more than 20 seasons and 2023 is not the exception. They donated 300,000 turkeys to six organizations that will give the turkeys to the people in LA that need it.

Legends w that help the cause:

The people that were invited to the event enjoyed a complete dinner while the people who served it and delivered it were Fernando Valenzuela, Joe Davis and Kirsten Watson.

Fernando Valenzuela said: “I’m very happy to participate. This people made a lot for me so this is just a little thing compared to what they have done. It’s an honor to be here”.

Fernando Valenzuela and Davis helped to serve the turkey while Watson was in charge to serve the ham with other workers that helped with the sides. Let’s highlight that the Dodgers announced that all the assistants were invited to a home game during 2024 season and all received a cap and a shirt. The luckiest received addtional prizes.

The mexican is remembered with love and respect in the organization in the field and outside the field.
