There has been rumors that Cincinnati Reds are looking to move Elly de la Cruz to another position and the dominican player hasn’t refused to that.
Recently, Elly de la Cruz had said that he will do anything in order to help the team. Despite he has been playing well at the shortstop, the Reds have other talented players in their minor leagues at the SS that could make their debut this season.
De La Cruz was one of the best players of the last season. Despite having a slump at the ending of the season, he finished with 13 HR, 44 RBI and 35 SB in just 98 games.
The Reds want to change De la Cruz to the third base where he played a couple of games this season. Elly de la Cruz has a strong arm so a change to that position will not be so difficult for him to adapt.
