Despite his short age, Pfaadt has been a great addition in the pitching rotation of the Arizona Diamondbacks.

With his start at game 3, Pfaadt has reached the record of most starts for a rookie in a singles postseason with another 4 pitchers: Fernando Valenzuela, Jaret Wright, Michael Wacha and Luis García.

In case this series extends, Pfaadt has an opportunity to become the solitary leader.

Is true that he didn’t have a good regular season with a losing record of 3-9 and a 5.72 ERA. However, he has had a great postseason by just letting 5 runs in 4 games.

Pfaadt was formed in Bellarmine University and there it is where he started playing baseball. He was selected by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the fifth round of the MLB Draft 2020. After the pandemic, he was send to play with the Visalia Rawhide and afterwards with Hillsboro Hops y Amarillo Sod Poodles.
