Ohtani is travelling to Toronto while Yusei Kikuchi is making a reservation at a restaurant

According to multiple sources, the reporter Clarence Frazers found out that the japanese player from the Toronto Blue Jays, Yusei Kikuchi, made a whole reservation of an exclusive sushi restaurant near Rogers Centre this friday night.

On the other side, according to rumors Ohtani is travelling to Toronto this friday (sources told Jon Morosi of MLB Network). Nevertheless, he is still a free agent and haven’t signed any contract with any team. Ohtani’s agency (CAA) didn’t say comments about the travel plans of the superstar when Morosi asked.

The selection of the team is close and could be revealed this Friday. The Blue Jays are one of the favorite teams to sign him and this option has become stronger since last week. Also, Dodgers and Giants are on the mix to sign him.

This week at the winter meetings it was revealed that the japanese had meet recently with the Toronto Blue Jays in the Spring Training of the team in Dunedin, Florida.

Ohtani is the actual American League MVP winner after a season of 10 WAR, 44 HR and 1.066 OPS (.304/.412/.654).

Also he registered an ERA of 3.14 in 23 starts but he broke the colateral ligament in August that will keep him outside the mount in 2024.
