Red Sox Manager Ron Roenicke told the media that Benintendi's season will be over after suffering a strained rib cage.
This comes on a very bad timing, since the Red Sox just traded Kevin Pillar to Colorado Rockies. Everything looks so uncertain for the Red Sox; they haven0t found a reliable player to cover for Benintendi, at least for the next 20 days that will cover the rest of the 2020 MLB schedule.
I case you're wondering, the Boston Red Sox won't be making the Postseason.
