The mexican player has been elected to be in the first ever Professional Baseball League of the Middle East

The mexican catcher was selected at round 8 of the draft from Mumbai Cobras and will make his debut on the league next month.

In today’s event many ex MLB players were selected in the draft, between those were: Robinson Cano, Alex Liddi, Didi Gregorius, Pablo Sandoval, Bartolo Colón, etc.

The developed player from the Academia Harp Helú, played for team in the Mexican League like: Guerreros de Oaxaca, Diablos Rojos del México and Generales de Durango (where he has played the recent 5 years). Also he had played in the Winter Mexican League for: Charros de Jalisco and Algodoneros de Guasave (his actual team)

Carlos Garzón was part of the team that played in the Winter Mexican League Final at the beginning of the year. However he had low activity, where he only participate in eight games where he had this numbers (7 AB, 1 R. 1 H and 3 SO)

In addition to this, a mexican brand (Arrieta) will be the sponsor of the jerseys of the teams.
